New President for Season 2022
Good evening Sainter community, As you may or may not know, I was voted in as the new North Ringwood Football Club President at our AGM. I would like to thank everyone for their support and really look forward to working with the newly elected committee and continuing the improvement of our great club. I would like to acknowledge Lee Robinson and the previous committee for what they have done for the club. I bring with me , a team of “doers”and business people that are looking forward to taking the club to the next level. I would like you all to welcome our new Vice President, Mick Conway, as well as our new Secretary Tammie Palmer. We have also created a first for the club, with the appointment of Mel Catania as our NRFC Marketing Manager – you will see first hand the impact that she has on the club next year with Merchandise , Social Media, Fund raising and Events We have also kept some wise heads on the committee – who have given their time tirelessly over the past few years. You will see many changes at the Club next year- as we won’t sit idle and accept “ well that’s the way we have always done things”. We will challenge each other and ultimately do what we think puts the club first We are introducing a new hashtag to the club which we will live and breathe – #northringwoodfirst You may have seen this on our socials already as we started to implement it. But trust me- we will all know this hashtag from herein , and the Committee , the Life Members, the Coaching Staff, the Players , and of course our wonderful members and supporters , will all hear a lot more about this in the coming weeks and months Robbie Nahas has my full support, and I’m sure you will agree that the improvement last year was amazing. We will strive for excellence in everything we do, and get off field rocking , and help the players bring home the ultimate prize – the silverware and flags I look forward to welcoming all our senior teams, the Under 19s, the Women’s team, the senior men’s squad, and also the Vets. I’m also looking forward to working with Chris Leahy and the Junior club to get the best out of our collective players and supporters.
Let’s embrace our club and community and take this place to the next level! I can’t wait for 2022 season, as I’m sure you can’t
