Big Ex Docker Michael Apeness Joins Saints

North Ringwood Football Club is thrilled to announce the big signing of Michael Apeness to Quambee in 2019.

Michael is fresh off Fremantle’s list, after spending 5 years at the Dockers.

Picked 17 in the 2013 draft, Michael made his debut in the number 35 jumper in Round 16, 2014 against Melbourne at TIO Stadium, coming in to replace the injured Matthew Pavlich.

Michael missed large chunks of games due to season ending injuries over his time at Dockers but still played 12 games of AFL at the highest level . Michael’s best stint was this year playing 5 consecutive games in the ruck for the injured Aaron Sandilands.

Michael is 201cm (6ft 7in) and 100kg and only 23 years of age, we look forward to watching Michael for years to come.

Please make Michael and his family welcome to Saints land.

Go Saints!
